Can I try a class before joining?

Yes. Martial Arts Lifestyle advertises free introductory training. Tell the team which programme interests you and they will confirm the right session and what happens next.

Where are classes held?

Classes are held at North Petherton Football Club, Parkers Field, North Petherton, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA6 6PN.

Are beginners welcome?

Yes. The academy presents its programmes for a range of experience levels, with age-specific starting points for children and beginner-friendly routes for adults.

What should I wear to my free class?

Comfortable sports clothing and a drink are a practical choice for a first session. The academy will confirm any programme-specific clothing or equipment when your booking is arranged.

How do I choose the right children’s programme?

Start with your child’s age: Ninja Tykes is 3–5, Little Dragons is 4–7 and Junior Kung Fu is 8–12. If ages overlap, Paul can recommend the best class when you enquire.

Is age three too young to try martial arts?

This programme is specifically presented for ages 3–5. The free class lets you and your child see how they respond to the instructor, group and activities before making a longer commitment.

Does my child need previous experience?

No previous martial arts experience is required for an introductory class. The programme is designed as an early-years starting point.

What age is Little Dragons for?

Little Dragons is advertised for children aged 4–7. If your child is close to an age boundary, call the academy and Paul can help you choose the best group.

Can we try the class first?

Yes. Martial Arts Lifestyle advertises free introductory training across its programmes. Use the booking form and the academy will confirm the suitable session.

Is Junior Kung Fu suitable for beginners?

Yes. The academy welcomes students from beginner to more advanced levels, and the free class gives a new student a low-pressure way to start.

What can children gain from the programme?

The public programme describes work on discipline, focus, teamwork, self-defence and confidence alongside the martial arts techniques taught in class.

Am I too unfit to begin?

The adult programme is presented for different skill and fitness levels. Start at your current level, take the free class and ask the instructor about any adjustments you may need.

Do I need martial arts experience?

No. The academy describes the programme as suitable for newcomers as well as experienced practitioners.

Is this class only for experienced kickboxers?

No. The programme is promoted as a supportive route for women working towards their fitness and confidence goals, including those starting kickboxing.

Is the class women only?

Yes. Martial Arts Lifestyle publicly describes this programme as its Ladies Only Adult Kickboxing class.

Do I need to be flexible to begin Tai Chi?
